About the event

You do not walk into your business as just a business owner. You walk in as a caregiver, a community member, a person of faith, a professional with a history, and a woman navigating a world that was not always designed with you in mind. All of that shapes how you lead, how you decide, and how you serve. The question is not whether it does. It is whether you are leading with that awareness or quietly working against yourself.


This session introduces intersectionality, a framework developed by legal scholar Kimberlé Crenshaw, and brings it directly into the world of women-owned business. Mia Coltrane, founder of SiVad Vision LLC, draws on her background in trauma-informed leadership, public-sector HR, and higher education to make this conversation both grounded and practical.
